    Sand pipe, also known as abrasive nozzle, refers to the nozzle used for mixing abrasive and water at the jet outlet of high-pressure abrasive water jet machining machine tool.     Abrasion of high speed abrasive particles on sand pipes is essentially abrasive wear. Abrasive wear includes sliding abrasive wear, impact crushing, high stress grinding abrasive wear, erosion wear, etc. Sliding abrasive wear plays a decisive role in the wear of sand pipes, and the main wear modes are micro-cutting, micro-deformation or fatigue. It is not only related to the material and shape of the sand pipe, but also affected by the particle size, shape, hardness and sliding speed of the abrasive, so the wear process of the sand pipe is very complex. Therefore, reasonable selection of jet pressure, abrasive material and particle size can effectively improve the service life of the sand pipe; In the process of design and assembly, the water nozzle and sand pipe should be aligned to ensure that the jet is in the best position to prevent eccentric wear.
